The goal of a repack is to reduce download size by removing unnecessary files (e.g., foreign language packs, 4K videos, or demo content) and then re-compressing the remainder using algorithms like FreeArc or LZMA. Repackers also pre-apply cracks, registry patches, or keygens so that the end user has a "one-click install" experience.
