Since there is no "Save As .tib" button, you must essentially move the data from the new container to a new backup task using an older version of the software. Recover the Data : Use your current version of Acronis to restore the files or the entire disk archive to a temporary location or a spare drive. Install an Older Version : On a machine running Acronis True Image 2019 or earlier , install the software. These versions default to the Create a New Backup Recover the Data : Use your current version
This method is only recommended for IT professionals or forensic analysts. If you have a newer version of Acronis
If you have a newer version of Acronis and want it to start producing .tib files instead of .tibx , you can "force" the legacy format by reconfiguring an existing task.
convert_tibx_to_tibup(tibx_file_path, tibup_file_path)
