Most of Zinca’s major works were published by Editura Cartea Românească or Editura Eminescu between 1968 and 1989. After the Romanian Revolution of 1989, the publishing industry collapsed temporarily. New publishers focused on Western bestsellers and contemporary authors, leaving mid-list authors like Zinca to fade into obscurity.
