There are open-source YouTube clients developed specifically for older devices.

Note: AltStore requires iOS 9 or newer. For iOS 7.1.2, you must use an older fork called "AltDeploy" for Mac or "Sideloadly" for Windows.

Here’s a sample post you could use for a blog, forum, or social media. Please note: iOS 7.1.2 is very old and unsupported. Modern YouTube app versions no longer work on it. This post reflects the reality of that limitation.

Remember: This is a community-supported hack. Google could turn off the legacy API endpoints tomorrow. But for now, enjoy one more glimpse of skeuomorphism, one more round of button clicks before everything became gestures, and one more reason to keep that iPhone 4S in your drawer.
