The film begins with Victor Frankenstein successfully creating life from dead body parts. However, his creation, Adam, quickly escapes and begins to navigate the world. Adam's journey is marked by encounters with both cruelty and kindness. When Adam stumbles upon a family, the De Lacey family, he forms a bond with them, particularly with the blind daughter, Elizabeth (Jessica Brown Findlay). Unfortunately, the family's happiness is short-lived as their fear and misunderstanding of Adam lead to tragedy.
