Danny Lee, Billy Hin-Shing Tang Starring: Simon Yam Loosely based on the “Jars Murderer” Lam Kwok-wai, this film follows a taxi driver (Simon Yam, chillingly calm) who photographs and dismembers his victims. Unlike the manic Wong Chi-hang, Yam’s character is mundanely evil. The autopsy and evidence room scenes are so clinical they feel like a snuff film. It’s a difficult watch but a masterclass in atmospheric dread.
