Finally, there’s the ethics of distribution. CandidHD wanted these images for a gallery celebrating school-life authenticity. I considered consent: parents had agreed, but children’s agency is complicated. I focused on images that respected dignity and agency — moments where kids were active participants in their narratives, or where vulnerability was framed respectfully.
