“Touch me not” – the biblical and Rizalian injunction against physical interference finds strange digital life in Adobe Flash Player. Flash was both ubiquitously touchable (every browser had it) and deliberately untouchable (closed source, soon deprecated). Our case study is the little-known – where “Top” referred to the peak of the social hierarchy in San Diego, and players had to navigate class conspiracies without “touching” (altering) the core plot.
